We are excited to announce that Randolph County has a new emergency notification system called REACT (Randolph Emergency Alert Communication Technology).
Get alerted about emergencies and other important community news by signing up for REACT. This system enables us to provide you with critical information quickly in a variety of situations, such as severe weather, unexpected road closures, missing persons and evacuations of buildings or neighborhoods.
You will receive time-sensitive messages wherever you specify, such as your home, mobile or business phones, email address, text messages and more. You pick where, you pick how.
The cost of equipment for first responding agencies is a huge factor that limits many departments! Luckily there are wonderful organizations that aim to assist agencies with this financial limitation! We are proud to announce that due to the courtesy of Randolph Health Community Foundation, we will be receiving a grant of $11,565 that will allow Guil-Rand Fire Department to purchase five new ‘Lifepak 1000’ Automated External Defibrillators (AED’s)! We are blessed to have such an opportunity to enhance our premium level of service to the members of our community. Randolph Health has been able to award over one million dollars in grants since the foundation of the ‘Randolph Health Community Foundation’. Guil-Rand Fire Department would like to send a special thank you to Randolph Health Community Foundation and for the supplementation of this grant to our Fire Department so we can better serve our community!
